Alabama hosting pair of official visitors this weekend

It is a bit of an unusually quiet weekend on the campus of the University of Alabama in terms of official visitors.

The Crimson Tide is only hosting Trent Seaborn and Cedrick Simmons. Seaborn is a 2027 four-star quarterback, and he is verbally committed to the Crimson Tide. Simmons is a 2027 three-star wide receiver prospect, and he is considering Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Purdue and West Virginia.

Seaborn has been committed to Alabama since last October and remains locked in with the Tide.

“I’m locked in and ready for official visit season at Alabama,” Seaborn previously told Touchdown Alabama. “Mine is June 11-14, but I’ll be going up there the other weekends too, just to be around the guys, get to know the other commits better, and also help out however I can in recruiting the guys our coaches are focused on getting committed to Alabama.”

Simmons recently earned an Alabama offer after impressing at camp. He is using this weekend to get a better feel for the Crimson Tide.

“I want to get to know the coaches and see how I could fit in the program,” Simmons said.

At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, Simmons is an explosive wide receiver who can be dangerous with the football in his hands. He is also an athletic wideout who has no problem rising to go and get the football in jump-ball situations.

While this weekend is expected to be a quite one, the Tide is expected to close out official visit season with a bang.
