6-foot-7 OL flips commitment from Cal to LSU after Alabama offers him at camp

LSU picked up a commitment from Amaziah Siale after an official visit, flipping him from the Cal Bears.

Siale attends Mission Viejo High School in California, and most recruiting sites consider him to be a three-star recruit after he missed his junior season of high school football. His recruitment includes recent offers from Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Illinois.

All of Siale’s recent offers came after he committed to Cal earlier this month. The Tigers offered Siale a couple of days before the Crimson Tide did. Both programs offered Siale after he impressed their coaching staff at camp.

Alabama’s staff was likely hoping they could get the offensive lineman on campus for an official visit after offering him.

At 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds, Siale is built like a future offensive tackle at the next level. He packs a strong punch and has impressive agility for a guy his size.

Alabama currently does not have a 2027 offensive lineman commit.
