Alabama football’s 2027 recruiting class is currently not ranked very high by any major recruiting service.
The Crimson Tide currently holds commitments from eight 2027 prospects. Sports media personality, Clay Travis was made aware of how the Tide is doing on the recruiting trail on Wednesday, and he said he feels the Tide does not have enough money to recruit at a high level.
“I’m sure Alabama will improve these rankings by the fall, but the Tide has no money compared to the rest of the SEC. It’s why Saban bailed,” Travis posted to X.

Kalen DeBoer recently revealed the Tide has commitments from prospects who have not gone public.
“Good number of guys, another big weekend this weekend,” DeBoer said at the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame Banquet. “Expect some more guys that haven’t announced that we are aware of will be with us.”
Multiple Alabama targets plan to announce a commitment next week.
