Mississippi 4-Star OL commits to Ole Miss over Alabama

Antonio Berry announced a commitment to Ole Miss on Wednesday, choosing the Rebels over Alabama, Kentucky and others.

Berry is a 2027 four-star offensive lineman out of Tupelo High School in Mississippi. His commitment leaves the Tide with 11 2027 commits and one offensive lineman commit, with a pledge from Stafford Willis. Berry is expected to line up as an interior offensive lineman at the next level.

Fortunately for Alabama, the Tide did pick up a commitment from Willis on Tuesday. Alabama is high on him, despite him being a three-star recruit.

Willis was told the Tide feels he can make an impact early in his college career.

“I’m gonna be playing guard,” Willis told Touchdown Alabama. “They see me as a guy that can start in a year or two, so I’m really excited for it. It’s gonna be awesome. They think I’m a powerful run blocker, athletic enough to pass set. It’s gonna be awesome. Excited for it.”

Alabama is still actively recruiting five-star offensive lineman, Ismael Camara, who the Tide hopes to get on campus this fall for an official visit.
