Terrion Arnold will be held without a bond for the moment after appearing before a judge on Thursday. He surrendered to a police warrant in Tampa, Florida, on Wednesday.

The NFL defensive back was arrested on four counts of armed robbery and four counts of kidnapping. His arrest came after two defendants agreed to plea deals in a kidnapping and assault case. They allegedly committed the crime on Arnold’s behalf.

Arnold’s camp has denied all wrongdoing.

“There is no credible evidence linking Mr. Arnold to these allegations,” Denise White, CEO of EAG Sports Management, said in a statement. “Instead, the government appears to be relying on testimony from multiple convicted felons who have admitted their own involvement and may have substantial incentives to shift blame in an effort to lessen their sentences. Mr. Arnold looks forward to his day in court and is confident that the judicial process will lead to his ultimate vindication.”

The Detroit Lion is expected to be held without bond until at least Monday when he appears in court again for his pretrial detention hearing.
