Zabien Brown is one of the many reasons why ESPN NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid is high on the 2027 draft class at cornerback.
I’m high on the upcoming CB class. Leonard Moore (Notre Dame) is a future top 10 pick. Robinson IV (Georgia) and Hampton (Clemson) are physical athletes. Jones (Miss. St) and Brown (Alabama) are savvy technicians. Swain (S. Carolina) and Frédérique Jr. (Miami) have potential.

Brown will be eligible to declare for the draft at the end of the 2026 football season. He is set to enter his junior campaign with high expectations, and the California native is coming off a year where he had 39 tackles, six pass breakups, two interceptions and a forced fumble.
Both of Brown’s interceptions last season were returned for touchdowns.

Reid feels Brown is a savvy technician. This is a great description of Brown because he was evaluated as one of the most technically sound cornerback prospects when he came out of Mater Dei High School. Brown’s high school film at Mater Dei is what one may call a teach tape.
Brown is expected to be one of the best cornerbacks in college football this fall.
