Alabama wide receiver named to Maxwell Award Watch List

Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams has officially been named to the Maxwell Award Watch List. 

The award is given annually to the college football player of the year. Five Alabama players have previously won the award. Bryce Young was the last to do so.

Coleman-Williams was widely regarded as one of the top receivers in the nation throughout his freshman campaign at Alabama. The talented route runner struggled throughout his sophomore season, however, and Coleman-Williams will now look to bounce back in authoritative fashion moving forward. 

Coleman-Williams was credited with 689 yards and four touchdowns across his junior campaign last season. The Crimson Tide star was the lone Alabama player to be listed on the award watch list, and Coleman-Williams should find himself with an excellent opportunity to win it should he pick up where he left off in 2024.
