Alabama football will participate in its first scrimmage of fall camp Thursday on the campus of the University of Alabama.

Quarterback
Alabama football is still without a starting quarterback early in fall camp ahead of the 2026 season. This competition remains tight with Austin Mack and Keelon Russell jockeying for position. In a battle that has been described as even so far, the first scrimmage will provide each quarterback with an opportunity to separate themselves some. Alabama’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb has gone on record and said he is looking for command through adversity out of his next starting quarterback this week.
