Why Alabama sophomore linebacker is making it hard to keep him off the field

The Alabama Crimson Tide have yet to name their second starter at inside linebacker following the acquisition of Virginia Tech transfer Caleb Woodson this offseason.

Woodson is a talented veteran who will more than likely wear the green dot throughout his first season in Tuscaloosa, meaning he will be communicating with Alabama’s staff throughout the game before the snap of the football. Sophomore linebacker Luke Metz is currently competing with junior QB Reese for the starting role alongside Woodson, and each player has been making a major impact during fall camp.
