Paul Finebaum names the 3 teams who he believes will beat Alabama this season

Paul Finebaum believes three teams will beat Alabama football this season.

Finebaum joined ESPN’s First Take and revealed he thinks Georgia, LSU and Tennessee will beat Alabama this fall, and the Crimson Tide will finished the season 9-3.

If this prediction comes to fruition, the Tide will be in danger of missing the College Football Playoff.

Alabama made the playoff last season after finishing the regular season 10-2 and losing in the SEC Championship game. The Tide missed the playoff in Kalen DeBoer’s first season as Alabama’s head coach in 2024 when it finished the regular season 9-3.

Alabama will have an opportunity to get the 2026 season off to a rolling start against East Carolina on Sept. 5.
