How much is Alabama favored to beat Florida State by?

Alabama football opened as an 18.5-point favorite to beat Florida State, according to BetMGM and FanDuel Sportsbook. Other sportsbooks have the Tide listed as a 17.5-point favorite.

The Seminoles defeated Alabama 31-17 to open the 2025 season. Unfortunately for Florida State, both teams’ seasons went in different directions after the game. The Crimson Tide went on to make the College Football Playoff, and Florida State failed to make a bowl game.

Alabama will enter this season’s matchup 2-0 after defeating Kentucky on the road 45-17. Florida State will be 1-1 after losing to SMU. The Seminoles were off last week ahead of their road matchup against Alabama.

The Crimson Tide and the Seminoles will clash Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT.
