Washington 4-Star WR excited to return to Alabama for night game

Jayze Halasz is expected to be in Tuscaloosa this weekend when the Crimson Tide take on South Carolina in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Halasz is a 2028 four-star wide receiver prospect, and he attends Graham Kapowsin High School in Graham, Washington. He holds an impressive list of offers with offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and others.

The four-star visited Alabama during the summer, and he also got to Tuscaloosa during the spring.

Halsz actually has ties to the state with his dad being an Alabama native, and his grandparents still live in the state. The talented wideout is looking forward to getting back to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to watch a night game between the Crimson Tide and the Gamecocks.

“That night game atmosphere,” Halasz said when asked what he is looking forward to seeing on his visit. “First one of the season.”

The last time Halasz visited Alabama, he said it felt like home.

“It was great to get back; it felt like a breath of fresh air getting back on campus, super homey the second time around,” Halasz said.

At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Halasz is a very impressive prospect at wide receiver. He appears to have a great feel for creating separation as a deceptive route runner. He becomes more dangerous when he gets the football in his hands, with his ability to pick up yards after the catch.

Halasz finished the 2025 season with 1,023 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 64 receptions.
