How DeBoer is approaching critical stretch of games for Alabama football

No. 7 Alabama will be on the road this weekend for a highly anticipated matchup against No. 16 Mississippi State in Starkville. 

Alabama’s defense is set to face their biggest test of the 2026 season so far in Week 5. MSU superstar Kamario Taylor has arguably been the best quarterback in the country through the first four weeks of the season, and the Tide will need to limit Taylor both on the ground and through the air to the best of their ability.
