Alabama offers 350-pound IMG Academy senior defensive lineman

Rohi Ogbebor reported an offer from Alabama football on Wednesday.

Ogbebor is a 2027 defensive lineman, and he attends IMG Academy in Florida. He reports offers from Missouri, Florida Atlantic, USF and others. The senior has a lot of respect for the Crimson Tide as a program.

“My thoughts on Alabama are it’s always been a big program and that school that everyone talks about when it comes to college football,” Ogbebor told Touchdown Alabama.

Ogbebor is working on setting up a visit with the Crimson Tide. Alabama currently has verbal commitments from two defensive lineman prospects.

At 6-foot-4 and 350 pounds, Ogbebor is a force in the middle of the Ascender’s defensive line. He packs a lot of force at the point of attack, making him very difficult to block. His offer shows the Crimson Tide is continuing to show a shift in its approach to recruiting defensive linemen. It has become clear the Crimson Tide wants mass up front.
