Alabama cornerback Dijon Lee Jr. has gotten off to a slow start in 2026 following a stellar freshman campaign last season.

A former five star recruit, Lee was expected to play a critical role across star cornerback Zabien Brown throughout his second season in Tuscaloosa. The sophomore has struggled immensely over the last 6 weeks, and Lee committed a critical personal foul late in the fourth quarter of Alabama’s 20-17 loss to Georgia this past weekend as well.

Lee threw a punch at Georgia wide receiver Craig Dandridge after a play was blown dead, as the sophomore appeared to have let his frustration get the best of him in that particular moment. A plethora of Lee’s teammates have taken to social media to express their support towards the cornerback following his game altering penalty, with Red Morgan posting a clear message to the Crimson Tide fan base.

“10 toes behind 5 right or wrong.” Morgan wrote.

Keelon Russell, Cederian Morgan, QB Reese, Trae’shawn Brown, Darrell Demetrick Johnson and Jamarion Matthews each expressed their support for Lee under Morgan’s Instagram story yesterday.

The Tide are set to face a major test on the road this weekend in Knoxville, and Lee will have an excellent opportunity to bounce back against Tennessee.
