Former Tide RB says Georgia looks like his era Alabama in 2026

Former Alabama running back and Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram feels the Georgia Bulldogs look like early Nick Saban Alabama this season.

The Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in the country and are fresh off their biggest win of the season. Ingram is high on Georgia this season, and he let it be known on “The Triple Option Show.”

“It is miserable,” Ingram said. “It’s like pulling my teeth out watching them play because they are the exact imprint of what we were in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, when we won three out of four National Championships. They play physical, they play tough, they dominate the line of scrimmage. Coach Kirby is a bad MF. He challenges his team, and he motivates that team, and when I watch them play, I see the team that Bama was. It’s miserable to say.”

Georgia will return to Athens this weekend to take on the Auburn Tigers in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
