Dijon Lee and Carmelo O’Neal were announced as the Alabama Crimson Tide’s starting cornerbacks in warmups ahead of Alabama vs. Texas A&M.

Lee and O’Neal have starter experience under their belt. O’Neal made his first start at Alabama last week against Tennessee and had three tackles in place of Lee. With Zabien Brown out against the Aggies, both cornerbacks will start for the Tide.

O’Neal is a cornerback who continues to gain the confidence from the Alabama staff.

“Melo just steadily getting better and better every single week,” Wommack said. “He’s played anywhere from, I think, maybe 16 to 18 snaps all the way to about 25 snaps a game. So, he’s been in there consistently. But really impressed by what he was able to do in the 2nd half and the way he stepped up, and he will continue to elevate his role moving forward. So I think he’s trending in the right direction.”

Alabama and Texas A&M will get after it around 2:30 p.m. CST Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
