BREAKING: Oxford 6-foot-4 senior OL commits to Alabama

Xavier Endicott has announced a verbal commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Endicott is a senior offensive lineman at Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama. His commitment gives the Crimson Tide 16 2027 commits and two offensive linemen pledges. The senior feels his commitment to Alabama is a product of the Tide’s staff staying in consistent contact with him over the last several months.

“Alabama was here from the start before I had any offer or any attention,” Endicott told Touchdown Alabama. “They were my number one way before I even got the offer.”

Alabama’s offensive line coach Adrian Klemm has led the Tide’s push to build a relationship with Endicott. The new Alabama pledge described his relationship with Klemm as a great one.

“Not just me but my family also have a good relationship with him,” Endicott said. “He’s a great guy but also a great coach.”

The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder had previously lined up as a defensive lineman for the Yellow Jackets before becoming a full-time offensive lineman this season. He has put several promising attributes on display this season, including a strong punch and impressive agility. The senior also has a promising frame as he carries very little to no bad weight. His transition to Alabama in the future will likely center around him getting stronger.
