Alabama was able to keep its playoff hopes alive on Saturday afternoon following its authoritative victory over LSU on the road.

The Tide defeated the Tigers by a final score of 31-13, and Alabama as a whole had one of their best all around performances of the season.

Alabama linebacker Luke Metz took a moment to comment on the environment in Death Valley following the win, as Metz claims LSU fans were yelling some vulgar comments at Tide players prior to kickoff.

“They’re not nice people, that’s for sure,’ Metz said. ‘They’re a little mean, saying some crazy things while we were warming up. But, um, scoreboard. You couldn’t not hear it. They were like five feet away.”

Metz recorded 11 total tackles and an interception in the win over LSU today. The talented linebacker has proven to thrive in a handful of hostile environments this season, and Metz was excellent yet again today despite LSU fans’ nasty pregame comments.
