Dylan Moses, considered by many to be the top-rated player in the nation for the class of 2017, announced his intent to decommit from LSU on Monday. This announcement puts Alabama squarely back in the mix for the ultra-talented linebacker and running back.
A five-star prospect out of University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, Dylan has so far recorded 328 tackles through his freshman and sophomore seasons, adding 22 tackles for loss and six forced fumbles while also being featured at running back for the Cubs.
It didn’t take long for Nick Saban and his staff to notice the potential of Moses, as he was extended a scholarship offer by Alabama all the way back in his eighth-grade year. A player of his caliber will be highly sought-after by the Crimson Tide in the coming months.
Dylan said in his announcement on Twitter that LSU is still in the lead to land his services. He is being recruited by Alabama running backs coach Burton Burns.
