We are in Week 0 of the college football season, and ESPN’s College GameDay is setting up College Football Playoff implications.
Desmond Howard, David Pollack, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso have their four seeds for the playoff and a national champion.

Howard does not have Alabama making the playoff. His four teams are Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Michigan, and Baylor.
Howard has the Aggies and Michigan in the championship game. He picked Texas A&M as the national champion. Pollack has Ohio State, Utah, Alabama, and Clemson as his four teams. The former Georgia standout has Alabama and Ohio State in the championship game. Pollack picked the Crimson Tide as his national champion. Herbstreit has Ohio State, Georgia, Baylor, and Alabama as his four seeds. As a former quarterback for the Buckeyes, he has Ohio State and Alabama in the CFP title game.

Herbstreit has the Buckeyes as his national champion. Corso selected Alabama, Utah, Georgia, and Ohio State as his four teams.

Pollack was the lone one to pick the Tide as his national champion. Alabama returns much experience and young talent to a program that is poised to win it all. Coach Nick Saban will open his 16th season next week against Utah State in Tuscaloosa.
