An electric wide receiver from Alabama’s 2022 recruiting class is officially in the NCAA transfer portal.

Aaron Anderson, a former five-star from New Orleans, La., announced via Instagram that he’s in the portal.

He made it known on Twitter his decision to leave the Crimson Tide after one season.

After a sensational career at Edna Carr High School, Anderson arrived on the University of Alabama campus as a potential superstar. He showed in spring practice that he possessed the capability to be the next marquee receiver. The 5-foot-9, 184-pounder has the speed to make any vertical passing attack successful, but a knee injury kept him from seeing much action.

Anderson joins Traeshon Holden, Christian Leary, and JoJo Earle as the fourth receiver to enter the portal.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. He will have three years of eligibility left.
