Bryce Young recorded five passing touchdowns and Alabama’s defense allowed one touchdown in the second half. Several Tide fans felt Alabama should have been in the College Football Playoff over Texas Christian University, regardless of its two losses.

TCU lost to K-State in overtime in the Big 12 Championship Game, but the Tide handled the Wildcats by 25 points.

JC Latham, a sophomore right tackle, took a shot at the CFP selection committee for putting TCU over Alabama.

Nick Saban and the Tide will look to run college football next season to a national championship.
