How Alabama commits performed in the All-American Bowl

Justice Haynes after buford Thompson

Multiple Alabama signees put up great performances in the 2023 All-American Bowl.

Here is a breakdown of how each performed:

Keon Keeley finished the game with 2.5 tackles, a sack and a pass breakup. Keeley displayed a good motor throughout the game by consistently showing great effort when going after the opposing quarterback. The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder puts pressure on opposing offensive linemen with his combination of speed and power.

Caleb Downs flashed on both sides of the football, similar to what he did throughout his career at Mill Creek. He made several tackles close to the line of scrimmage and pulled in an interception in the game. He capped off his performance with a two-point conversion run.

Justice Haynes showed why he is considered one of the nation’s most complete backs. He exploded for a big run by displaying his great balance and vision in the third quarter. He also pulled in multiple receptions, including one for a score.

Kadyn Proctor was one of the bright spots on Team West. He did not give up a sack against a Team East team, who was consistently getting after Team West’s quarterbacks.

Yhonzae Pierre was explosive off the edge throughout the game, putting pressure on the opposing quarterback from the first drive to the last. He was also very impressive in space.
