A report has surfaced on Alabama football offering a candidate for its vacant offensive coordinator position.
According to Football Scoop, Tommy Rees of Notre Dame has been offered the Tide job.
The report states that Rees had a Zoom meeting with Nick Saban on Wednesday and visited the Crimson Tide’s program Thursday. Football Scoop says that Alabama gave a ‘preliminary offer’ to Rees after the interview. The initial offer to Rees was in the range of $2 million per year. We will see soon if Rees is announced as the new offensive coordinator for Alabama.

He served as OC and quarterbacks coach for the Fighting Irish since 2017.
