Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the news on Las Vegas hosting Young. The Raiders have an offensive-minded head coach (Josh McDaniels) and several talented players, including Davante Adams. Young excelled in college football during his two years starting at the University of Alabama under Nick Saban. He totaled 8,200 passing yards and 79 passing touchdowns in two seasons as a starter. Young guided the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2021 and earned the Heisman Memorial Trophy. The California native projects as the top quarterback and No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

Young got a College Football Playoff National Championship ring in 2020 as a freshman.
