Julian Sayin told Touchdown Alabama Sunday he plans to be back in Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide’s spring game this week.
Sayin is a five-star recruit out of Carlsbad High School in California, and he is one of the Crimson Tide’s five 2024 commits.
The California product visited Tuscaloosa last month. He will take his second visit to Tuscaloosa in less than a month this weekend despite living on the West Coast. His last visit to Tuscaloosa gave him an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look At Alabama’s offense.
“I had a great time out there,” Sayin said. “I was in meetings, got to see the practices. It was a good time.”
The Alabama pledge is working on putting on some pounds this off-season.
“I am really focused on putting on weight this off-season,” said Sayin. “I have done a good job of it. I am up around 20 pounds from last season.”
The California product finished his junior campaign with 2,708 passing yards and 27 passing touchdowns while completing 66 percent of his passes. He displayed great pocket awareness while having great accuracy and touch on his deep ball. Sayin also showed he can make all the throws by ripping the ball in while throwing short to medium throws.
