Alabama offers rising Georgia sophomore DL James Morrow

James Morrow

James Morrow announced Wednesday he received an offer from Alabama football.

Morrow is a rising sophomore out of Buford High School in Buford Georgia. The 2026 recruit’s recruitment is trending upwards with his latest offers coming from Alabama and Georgia.

His offer from the Crimson Tide made him feel grateful.

“When I first heard from coach Robinson and coach Roach that I received an offer, I was just amazed and grateful that I could have the opportunity to play with and be coached by the best of the best,” Morrow said. “It’s a great program with great coaches.”

Morrow has met Nick Saban, and he thinks highly of him as a person.

“He is a very intelligent person,” said Morrow. “He also is a great person toward his staff, the players and the recruits.”

At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, it is easy to see why Morrow is projected to be a top recruit at the moment. It is also a huge plus he plays for a football powerhouse like Buford.

“I bring violence and speed to the field,” Morrow said. “That’s what we’ve all been trained to do at Buford.”
