Former Alabama football defensive back, Geno Matias-Smith feels there is something cooking between the Tide and Demarcus Riddick.
Riddick is a 2024 four-star linebacker out of Chilton County High School in Clanton, Alabama. He is verbally committed to Georgia, but he has decided to reevaluate his recruitment and make a final decision next week by choosing between Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.
Former Alabama defensive back Geno Matias-Smith likes Alabama’s chances with the four-star.
“Hmmm I smell a flip to Bama.. @DemarcusRiddic always need great Linebackers! #RMFT,” Matias-Smith tweeted.

Alabama has been working to flip Riddick for several months. He has grown his relationship with their players and coaches.
“Alabama, they are great,” Riddick recently told Touchdown Alabama. “I mean I like them. I have chemistry with some of the coaches, some of the players.”
