He suffered a six-year show cause after recruiting violations led to him getting terminated from the University of Tennessee, but Jeremy Pruitt is employed again.
The former Tennessee head football coach returns home to the state of Alabama.

According to Paige Dauer, a Sports Reporter for WVLT (Channel 8 CBS News affiliate) in Knoxville, Tenn., Pruitt has been hired as a physical education (PE) teacher for Plainview High School. He will also serve as head coach of the junior high boys basketball team. Pruitt, 49, landed his first on-field coaching job at Plainview in 1998 as a defensive backs coach for the football team.

He would then coach at Fort Payne and Hoover high schools before getting a chance at the University of Alabama.
Pruitt helped the Crimson Tide win national championships in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2017 in different roles. He served as director of player development, defensive backs coach, and defensive coordinator. Pruitt is now back to where it all started.
