On Mindset Throughout The Game Vs. Tennessee:
“I think we had the same mindset the whole game, no matter what part of the game it was. We had the same mindset, and the mindset was to win. I think as a collective whole, we all approached it as a challenge going into the game, and it factored into how we approached every situation that took place. Whether it was good, bad, or ugly, we all channeled in and figured out that we could win this thing. So, our mindset was all just to be on the same page and be successful.”
On Play Calls After Halftime:
“It was just our point of attack, just acknowledging the assignment that took place and just executing to the best of our ability.”
On How Win Feels After Loss Last Season:
“I think we had to acknowledge that we’re circled on everyone’s calendar, no matter who we play. They’re going to give us our best game, and we had to realize that and have the right mindset approaching the game. Tennessee is a tough opponent. It was a big challenge for us.
On Fans In Bryant-Denny for Alabama vs. Tennessee:
“I know y’all saw Coach Saban. He’s talking about how important the fans were today, and the student section is a part of our fan base, and they brought it today. I will say this, the whole stadium was rocking all day, our fans really came out today.”
On Nick Saban Sprinting Off The Field After The Game:
“Boy, he was running Boy. Since I’ve been here, I never seen him run like that. Boy, he must be happy.”
