Alabama football’s starting center Seth McLaughlin has appeared to get a hold of the snapping issues, which plagued the Tide earlier in the season.
Jalen Milroe was able to create magic when a bad snap led to him rushing for a touchdown against Middle Tennessee State to open the season. Unfortunately for the Crimson Tide, this did not continue to happen as snap issues were becoming a problem. Alabama continued to stick with McLaughlin and their belief in him is paying off.
McLaughlin discussed the change he made Monday during the Crimson Tide’s player media availability.
“I went to the dead-ball snap,” Mclaughlin said. “I think the inaccurate snaps have been cleaned up a little bit. That’s still a thing I’m trying to work on, just cleaning up the snaps in practice and in the game, just putting an emphasis on how important it is to get the ball in Milroe’s hands and let him go to work and do what he’s so good at.”
