Shawn Murphy is expected to enter the transfer portal, per multiple reports.
Murphy is a former four-star recruit out of Unity Reed High School in Manassas, Virginia. He becomes the fourth Alabama player to enter the portal since Nick Saban announced his retirement.
The Virginia product played in five games as a freshman. He had three tackles as sophomore in 13 games of action during the 2023 football season as he mainly contributed on special teams.
