Alabama gets visit from Nation’s No. 1 2026 QB

Faizon Brandon visited Alabama football over the weekend, and it was another successful trip to Tuscaloosa.

Brandon is a product of Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is rated as a five-star recruit on multiple recruiting sites and is considered by several sites to be the nation’s No. 1 2026 quarterback.

The rising junior shared he had a great visit with the Crimson Tide via X.

I really had a great time visiting the University of Alabama this weekend! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience” Brandon posted to social media.

Alabama has hosted Brandon twice since hiring Kalen DeBoer. He has moved up his commitment timeframe to August, following his visit to Alabama, per a post to X.

At 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, the five-star has great touch and accuracy on his deep ball. He also seems to eat up ground and accelerate quickly when working outside the pocket.

Brandon finished the 2023 football season with 3,026 passing yards, 528 rushing yards and 45 total touchdowns while only throwing three interceptions.
