It looks as if Alabama is showing a lot of love to Josh Gidron.
Gidron attends Ridge View High School in Columbia, South Carolina, and he is a 2026 four-star wide receiver prospect. The Tide’s wide receiver coach JaMarcus Shephard showed his energy for the Tide in a recent video sent to the Alabama target.

The four-star had nothing but good things to say about Alabama when Touchdown Alabama caught up with him during the summer.
“I like it a lot,” Gidron said. “I like coach Shepherd the most. He obviously was at Washington last year and sent three receivers in the NFL draft. The development and success that they have at the receiver position is probably what I like the most about it.”
At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Gidron is absolutely dangerous with the football in his hands with his ability to accelerate and hit another gear in open space. He is a strong runner after the catch as he is not letting arm tackles get him down. This combined with the ability to change directions on a dime makes him an exciting player to watch.
