Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are using their BYE week to prepare for multiple future opponents, including Alabama.
However, the Bulldogs have not begun to work on Alabama with the highly anticipated showdown between the two happening in less than two weeks. Smart said Georgia has been working on opponents they will face after the Tide this week.
“We haven’t started on Alabama yet,” Smart said. “We’re working on us right now. Our typical protocol is to work on all the opponents we have further out, and as the week goes, we begin honing in on that. We actually worked on other opponents, we’re going to work on some opponents coming up and we’ll begin our Alabama work tomorrow.”
The Crimson Tide will welcome the Bulldogs to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Sept. 28 for top-five matchup.
