Auburn 4-Star DB commit schedules Alabama official visit

Anquon Fegans plans to officially visit Alabama football on the weekend of Oct. 26 when the Crimson Tide take on Missouri.

Fegans is a four-star recruit, who attends Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He is currently verbally committed to Auburn.

The senior said he was still working on building his relationship with the Crimson Tide in May.

“I am still building a relationship with coach DeBoer, coach Hitsch (Colin Hitschler),” Fegans said. “Me and coach (Freddie) Roach got that relationship, and we are just continuing to build on.”

Fegans is one of the nation’s top safety prospects at 6-foot-1 and approximately 180 pounds. He plays with a natural feel for the position and seems to have a natural attraction to the football as the ball oftentimes finds its way into his hands. He is smooth and fluid when roaming over the top at safety, but the Thompson product also looks comfortable in man as a physical defensive back in press coverage, who can jump routes and take interceptions back for scores. Fegans is also an impressive open-field tackler, who consistently gets lower than ball carriers.
