Jalen Hurts displays respect for Alabama QB Jalen Milroe

A reporter asked Jalen Hurts about Alabama football’s starting quarterback Jalen Milroe this week after Milroe wore a shirt with Hurts on the front of it.

Both Hurts and Milroe are from the Houston, Texas area.

The Eagles field general acknowledged Milroe’s support in his answer to the reporter.

“I have a ton of respect for Jalen (Milroe),” Hurts said. “Hell of a player. Another Houston kid. Coach Saban went back to Houston to get him. He’s paved himself a great journey at the University of Alabama. I’m excited for him and hoping he can finish the year off strong.”

Milroe and Alabama will look to get back in the win column against South Carolina on Saturday.
