Alabama OL feels Tide still has potential to win National Championship

Alabama OL Tyler Booker (#52) blocking in practice during fall camp.

Tyler Booker still believes the Alabama Crimson Tide can win a National Championship this season despite their recent struggles.

After starting out 4-0 on the season and claiming the No. 1 overall ranking in the country, Alabama has managed to only win one game, falling to No. 15 in the country.

Booker has faith the Tide can right the ship and still win a Nation Championship this season. The team captain made this apparent in his Monday morning appearance on The Next Round podcast when asked about the overall potential of this year’s Alabama football moving forward after their road loss to Tennessee.

“The potential is a hard question to answer,” Booker said. “I wholeheartedly believe we have the potential to win a National Championship this year, but potential is nothing without result. We are a decent team with a lot of potential, and we have to continue to tap into that potential week by week, every day in practice. Even today as we go on and continue to watch film. We have to continue to tap into that potential and reach our maximum potential because who cares about the 2024 Alabama team could’ve really done something, but we haven’t done it.”

The Crimson Tide are now fighting for their College Football Playoff lives.
