Kalen DeBoer and Alabama football are still in the National Championship picture despite the sinking feeling some fans may feel at the moment.
The Crimson Tide are 5-2 and are rank No. 15 in the AP Top 25 Poll. A lot can happen over the next few weeks with several of the teams rank in front of and behind Alabama set to play one another. DeBoer is keeping all this in mind in preparation for his team to continue to fight for a playoff spot.
“I already heard in the locker room from our players,” DeBoer said. “They understand the big picture is one thing. In order to make the big picture relevant, we have to take care of what’s in front of us. We have to continue to build, do what the championship teams do…build on your belief, build on your intensity and everything that you do. And then just have some grit.”
Alabama will look to redeem itself against Missouri Saturday at home.
