Alabama offer means the world to California 4-Star TE

Israel Briggs reported he earned an offer from Alabama football on Monday.

Briggs attends Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, California, and he garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites as a 2026 prospect.

Alabama’s continued success during his lifetime makes an offer from the Tide a special one for Briggs.

“This offer means the world to me because you know as a younger kid Alabama has always been one of those programs you just look up at,” Briggs told Touchdown Alabama.

The Alabama offense has shown it can be explosive this season. This has caught Briggs’ attention via highlights on SportsCenter.

“The Alabama offense is so electric,” Briggs said. “You have to stay on your toes. They just have so many weapons.”

Briggs is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound weapon as a tight end. He is athletic with the ability to make plays with his explosive burst, which is impressive for a guy his size.

“I get in space, and I can do a lot, especially mismatch matchups with corners and backers,” said Briggs.
