Former Alabama running back and college football analyst, Mark Ingram is confident in the Crimson Tide this week against LSU.
The Tide are coming off a bye week and are 6-2 on the season. They are now preparing to hit the the road to take on the Tigers in front of a rocking crowd in a night game.
Ingram feels the Tide will win this one because of their QB1.
“I got Alabama in this one,” Ingram said. “But I’m telling you the difference. Obviously, we know about they trusting Garrett Nussmeier, this electric offense is going to put up a lot of points.
I think this is going to be a shootout, but I think the difference is going to be Jalen Milroe. He had a week off to kind of just refocused to get his confidence, get his focus. And we saw Marcel Reed for A&M have a huge game versus them using his legs on the ground. That was the difference. When A&M came back to beat LSU, it was his ability to change the game with his legs.
I think it would be no different for Jalen Milroe on the road, being able to utilize his legs, being able to use his playmaking ability to extend plays, to get out of trouble and turn bad plays into positive plays and take care of the football.”
Alabama and LSU will kick off their highly-anticipated matchup from Tigers Stadium at 6:30 p.m. CST.
