Nick Saban goes after college football for its response to players flag planting

Nick Saban attacked college football’s decision makers after they fine teams for flag panting incidents from rivalry weekend.

Ohio Stage and Michigan were fined $100,000 for their football teams getting into an altercation after the Wolverines defeated the Buckeyes. Other schools were fined an undisclosed amounts across college football.

Saban feels fining teams should be one of the last things on college football’s agenda.

“First of all, I think we need guidelines, but I think to fine these schools $100,000, is like wearing about mouse manure when your up to your ears in elephant shit. We got to have guidelines, and I would be more upset with my team trying to plant the flag because I think that’s is disrespectful.”

It will be interesting to see if flag planting incidents continue to rise in the future.
