Zyan Gibson has announced a verbal commitment to Alabama football.
Gibson attends Gadsden City High School in Gadsden, Alabama, and he is 2026 four-star defensive back prospect. The Alabama native becomes the Tide one and only 2026 pledge.
This is a significant get for Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama staff, considering how they fared in-state during the 2025 cycle. Securing Gibson and adding some more of the state’s top 2026 talent would be considered a bounce-back recruiting cycle for the Tide.
Gibson is listed at 6-foot-1 and 174 pounds. He has elite verified speed with a PR of 10.63 in the 100-meter dash, and he displays his explosive burst on both sides of the ball for Gadsden City.
