Comedian Shane Gillis says Nick Saban went off on him after Gameday segment

Shane Gillis and Nick Saban seem to have a rivalry brewing which kicked off on ESPN’s College Gameday.

Gillis took a shot at the SEC while on the show and Saban took offense, firing back at the comedian.

“I do believe in integrity,” Saban said. “I always tried to run the program that way, so players had a better chance to be successful. We (Alabama) make more money in the NFL than any other school, 61 players in the league, that was how we cheated, we developed players.”

Gillis recently expressed he thought Saban was joking with him about this claim towards the SEC. However, his feelings have now changed after the former Tide head coach appeared to be serious after the two talked after the segment was over.

“He was like, ‘You think the SEC dominated because we cheated? That’s Bullshit,’” Gillis said. “He spazzed on me.”

Gillis giving his full reenactment of the moment can be stream below.
