An Alabama commit received a prestigious award on Tuesday evening. 2027 four-star edge rusher JaBarrius Garror was named the Class 5A Lineman of the Year in Alabama.
During his sophomore season at Vigor High School, Garror recorded 104 total tackles, 56 tackles for loss, and 21.5 sacks. He was a workhorse for the Wolves this past season.
Garror committed to Alabama at the end of July. He has made several trips to Tuscaloosa and seems to be locked in with the Crimson Tide. The coaching staff is high on Garror and will continue to make him a priority in the years to come.
Garror made a trip to ‘The Plains’ for Auburn’s Junior Day last weekend. The Tigers have continues to pursue Garror despite his early commitment to Alabama.
