Patrick Surtain was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the 2024-2025 season.
Surtain played his college football at the University of Alabama. He suited up for Alabama football from 2018 to 2020 before being selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Florida product finished the 2024-2025 season with 45 total tackles, one forced fumble, four interceptions, 11 pass deflections and one touchdown en route to winning the award.
