Jabarrius Garror continues to feel good about his commitment to Alabama football.
Garror attends Vigor High School in Alabama, and he is a 2027 four-star prospect. The Crimson Tide currently hold a verbal commitment from the sophomore. The Crimson Tide’s efforts at making him feel like Tuscaloosa is a second home to him is among the things keeping him locked in with Alabama.
“All the coaches and the family at Alabama,” Garror said when asked about his commitment. “It’s a great place to be. It’s just like being at home, so that’s what I want, the home feeling. That’s the reason.”
Alabama snagged a commitment from Garror in July of 2024. Kalen DeBoer was in his first summer as the Alabama football head coach.
The in-state recruit remains confident in DeBoer’s ability to keep Alabama football operating at the standard it has for the last decade.
“I feel like he stepped up as a coach,” Garror told Touchdown Alabama. “They are getting back to the old Alabama because I saw the changes they have been making. I feel like he is going to fit into Nick Saban’s spot really well.”
Garror took home an invite to the 2027 Under Armour All-America Game on Sunday after impressing at Under Armour Atlanta. He flashed an explosiveness and athleticism. Both are tools he feels will benefit him at Alabama.

“Edge guys are big in defenses, so being explosive, that’s probably the main key on defense,” said Garror. “I just work with my train every day and get better.”
