The 5-Star recruits Alabama is in play for

Alabama football is in play for multiple top 2026 recruits at the moment.

The Crimson Tide have built their success over the last decade by signing some of the nation’s best. This is no different in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Here is an early look at the 2026 five-star recruits the Tide is heavily in the mix for.

*Players in this breakdown are rated as five-star recruits by at least two major recruiting services.

Cederrian Morgan – 5-Star WR

Alabama football is expected to continue to roll out the red carpet for Morgan. He has future college superstar written all over him, and he is a native of Alabama with multiple family members being fans of the Tide.

The entire Alabama offensive staff recently visited him. He put the Tide in his top ten earlier this month.

Morgan is easily one of the best wide receiver prospects in the country as one of the most complete wideouts in the 2026 class. The 6-foot-5 prospect can get free with his route-running ability, work after the catch and pull down jump balls.

Anthony Jones – 5-Star LB

Anthony Jones was a priority target on day one of the Kalen DeBoer era. It took DeBoer and the Tide’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack no time to get in contact with Jones after the hire. They have remained in contact with him.

“It’s been great,” Jones told Touchdown Alabama. “I’ve been talking with them like every other day, just building a relationship with them.”

Alabama is recruiting the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder to play the WOLF position. This position moves around Kane Wommack’s defense quite frequently.

Tristen Keys – 5-Star WR

Keys visited Alabama football earlier this month and has plans to officially visit the Crimson Tide in the future. He respects what the Crimson Tide have been able to do with wide receivers in the past and really likes the Tide’s wide receiver’s coach JaMarcus Shephard.

“They produce a lot of great receivers, and it’s a lot of WRUs, but I feel like that’s one of them,” Keys told Touchdown Alabama. “They have produced a lot of first-round receivers.”

Keys is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound playmaker at wide receiver, who explodes out of his release off the line of scrimmage with the ability to create separation by a deceptive route runner.

Brandon Arrington – 5-Star ATH

Arrington has shown a lot of love to Alabama over the last several months.

One could say the Tide is the leader for him after hosting him for a visit earlier this month. He said Alabama was still a ‘high option’ for him after the visit.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is a personification of a speedster with his success as a track athlete. He holds a PR of 10.27 in the 100-meter dash and has reportedly clocked in a 4.38 forty-yard dash. His speed translates over to the gridiron as he is absolutely electric with the football in his hands. As a defensive back, he has great length, speed and ball skills.

Jared Curtis – 5-Star QB

Alabama’s coaching staff made the trip to Nashville to see Curtis in January after he put the Tide in his top six.

It is always an uphill battle to sign a top quarterback after signing one of the best in the previous class. Alabama is in this position at the moment after signing Keelon Russell in the 2025 class.

Curtis missed most of his junior season after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in the first game of the season. He has shown the ability to make a variety of throws in the past while standing up in the pocket and while getting pressured.

Elbert Hill – 5- Star DB

Hill spoke highly about the Tide after their coaching staff visited him in January.

“They stand pretty high in my recruitment,” Hill told Touchdown Alabama.

He is looking to get back to Tuscaloosa in the spring.

Hill is a dangerous and explosive athlete with the football in his hands on offense and in the return game for Archbishop Hoban High School, and his ball skills carries over to the defensive side of the football along with his speed and ability to go stride to stride with wide receivers. He currently stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 175 pounds.

Immanuel Iheancho – 5-Star OL

Iheancho recently put Alabama football in his Top 11 after visiting the Tide during the 2024 season.

Schools around the country are clamoring over this massive 6-foot-7 350-pounder in the trenches. He is agile with power, and it is scary how he is able to move under control at his size.

Derek Cooper – 5-Star RB

Cooper received a visit from Alabama football’s running back coach Robert Gillespie last month. The home visit came after Cooper visited the Tide during the 2024 season and remained in contact with him.

“It’s been frequently consistent, like every day I talk to them coaches,” Cooper said when discussing recent contact with Tide in January. “They really want me.”

The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder is an explosive running back, who holds a PR of 10.7 in the 100-meter dash. He flashes an ability to be dynamic in the run and pass game.
