5-Star WR re-classifies, puts Alabama among top choices

One of the nation’s top wide receiver prospects has decided to reclassify from the 2027 class to the 2026 class.

Five-star wide receiver Ethan Feaster confirmed that he was reclassifying on Friday via his Instagram story. He becomes the third prospect in the ‘27 class to reclassify joining tight end Mark Bowman and running back EJ Crowell. Both of which are Alabama targets as well.

In addition to reclassifying, Feaster also dropped his top schools list. Alabama made the cut as a finalist to land his commitment. The Crimson Tide offered the Texas native back in January.

Given Feaster’s decision to reclassify, his timeline will move up a year. It will be interesting to see if Feaster makes it Tuscaloosa for a visit during the spring or in the fall for a game. He is a priority target for the coaching staff.

Alabama is recruiting multiple prospects out of the Lone star state. Feaster could be the biggest of them all given his playmaking ability at 6-foot-0.5 and 175 pounds.

Feaster stars for DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas. As a junior, he reeled in 57 receptions for 855 yards and 14 touchdowns.
